Canvey Island is a small place, with a lot of competition among fitness facilities, we believe we offer a service to be proud of, please take the time to explore our website and social media, and allow us to demonstrate why we think we are the best option for you.

Lifestyle Fitness isn’t like other gyms, it isn’t built around membership targets or gimmicks. We are built around a caring and attentive team of staff, who put you first. We are a rapidly expanding, family run business, meaning we can offer you state of the art facilities, while still addressing you all by name and remembering how you take your coffee on the way out.

We aren’t a typical council run gym, or an old school rough gym like you may have seen on TV. We are a real gym, getting real results, for real people.

Because we are only here to serve you, our members, we have reinvested your membership fees into a 2500sq foot extension, giving us an incredible new functional training and class area, which was completed at the start of January 2018. It has allowed us to move from strength to strength.

After working around the clock with friends and family plus amazing trade people, we turned an old industrial unit into our dream gym with weights and cardio equipment galore.  1 year later we started our extension after needing more

 The brand new extension made space for even more equipment and is where we hold our classes.

Jack is a level 3 qualified personal trainer, with an interest and expertise in weightlifting and training. With Jack’s guidance and personal approach you’ll be safe hands all through your training session.

Megan is a level 3 qualified personal trainer with extensive knowledge of supplements, weightlifting and weightloss. With a qualification in Sports Massage aswell, Megan can work with you holistically with in depth musculoskeletal knowledge.

I specialise in sports & holistic massage therapies. I have a passion for everything sport and fitness, and love to always learn and expand on my knowledge to bring the best service possible. I’m a fully qualified personal trainer along with my sports massage, Kinesiology Taping, Acupuncture/Dry needling, and Rock Blades and Rock Pod Services.

Sports Massage

Whether Caused by sport, injury or the many stresses and strains of modern-day life, a sports massage can help you. Sports massage therapy uses firm pressure to reach deep into muscle tissues aiming to loosen up tight muscles. Sports massage may be used as a preventative therapy to injury, as corrective therapy to an injury during rehabilitation or as a sports specific therapy when training for an event. It aims to improve muscle flexibility which ensures your joints and muscles achieve better performance and prevent muscular and joint injury

Kinesiology Taping

This is an elastic tape that provides sensory input into an area, but still allows for full range of motion. Kinesiology tape works by lifting the skin from the tissues below it to both support muscle and allow freedom of movement.

Swedish Massage

The most common type of massage is Swedish massage therapy. one of the primary goals of the Swedish massage technique is to relax the entire body. It involves soft, long, kneading strokes, as well as light, rhythmic, tapping strokes, on topmost layers of muscles. This is also combined with movement of the joints. By relieving muscle tension, Swedish therapy can be both relaxing and energizing.

Indian Head Massage

Indian head massage is a relaxing holistic treatment that uses acupressure massage on the head, face, neck and shoulders. It aims to rebalance your body’s energies. Benefits: – conditions the scalp – helps enhance blood circulation – Sense of Relaxation – Can help relieve headaches


Western medical acupuncture is the use of acupuncture following a medical diagnosis. It involves stimulating sensory nerves under the skin and in the muscles.

This results in the body producing natural substances, such as pain-relieving endorphins. It’s likely that these naturally released substances are responsible for the beneficial effects experienced with acupuncture.

A course of acupuncture usually creates longer lasting pain relief than when a single treatment is used.

Hot Stone Massage

Hot stone massage is a type of massage therapy that involves the use of smooth, heated stones. The localized heat and weight of the stones warm and relax the muscles, allowing the massage therapist to apply deeper pressure to those areas without causing discomfort. Hot stone massage therapy melts away tension, eases muscle stiffness and increases circulation and metabolism.
